Project Description

Akari was my final year project at Kingston University. The game is a hybrid of a top down shooter and a third-person action adventure. The game combines three games engines, Irrlicht a graphics engine, Irrklang a 3D sound engine and Bullet Physics an open source physics engine. It is written in C++ and the IDE I used was Visual Studio 2010. Our university had a motion capture suit and we used it to record animations and apply them to our main character.
